The Pistons announced Friday, after this story was written, that Bullock suffered a left knee meniscus tear. He will not play tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers and will continue to be evaluated. The original article follows:

Shooters shoot. And when they miss, they still believe that the next shot will go in.

Well, last season, there was awhile between field goals for Detroit Pistons swingman Reggie Bullock. He started the season 1-for-19, making a field goal Nov. 15 but not again until Feb. 24, when he made 6 of 9 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

During that stretch were 16 straight games in which he sat on the bench.

But he never lost confidence.
