ilbert Montgomery and Mike Quick have held the Eagles’ franchise records for rushing and receiving, respectively, for more than 30 years.

They’re not bitter that running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver DeSean Jackson are on the verge of surpassing their marks. On the contrary, they couldn’t be happier.

McCoy needs 37 yards to break Montgomery’s record of 1,512 yards rushing set in 1979. Jackson needs 106 yards to surpass Quick’s mark of 1,409 yards receiving set in 1983.

“It’s about time!” said Quick, an analyst on the Eagles’ radio broadcasts. “DeSean is a great player. I’m happy for him. He’s one of those rare talents who has an extra gear that no one can match.”
