Martinez, who has just signed a new five-year contract, is currently out in Brazil.

And he visited the Holland training camp ahead of their sensational opening victory over World Cup holders Spain.

The Spaniard has his eyes on Dynamo Kiev attacker Jeremain Lens and defender Stefan de Vrij from Feyenoord.

And while Martinez is working away as a TV pundit, back home chairman Bill Kenwright is pressing on with plans to again secure the services of Gareth Barry and Romelu Lukaku, after their successful loan spells last season.

Martinez met with Barry before he flew down to Rio and now Kenwright is planning talks with representatives of the midfielder whose Manchester City contract has now come to an end.
