"The Tyreke Evans who was last season's Rookie of the Year was on display Monday night.
Now the question is how long will he stay on the court.
After the Kings' 100-99 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at Arco Arena, Evans said he's considering having a procedure on his left foot that would keep him out three to four months.
Evans had a chance to tie the score with 1.9 seconds left after being fouled by Ryan Gomes while attempting a three-pointer. He sank the first two free throws, but his third rimmed out. DeMarcus Cousins couldn't break free of Clippers forward Blake Griffin to complete his putback, and Evans' final shot bounced off the rim.
It was the Kings' eighth consecutive loss and 22nd in their last 24 games. Their 5-23 record is the NBA's worst, but they felt they made progress Monday. They executed well most of the fourth quarter and were in position to win."
