"Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans had another solid outing last week against San Diego. But it was the first game he didn’t have a catch covering 30 or more yards.

That could change on Sunday. The Dolphins secondary has been very susceptible to the big play. Miami has allowed 23 completions of 20 or more yards and six completions of 40-plus yards. Both figures are the second-highest totals in the NFL.

So if the Dolphins decide to blitz quarterback Trent Edwards they could hang their overmatched secondary out to dry. Evans said the Bills will look to take advantage of that.

“If they want to pressure your quarterback, then somewhere, somehow, there’s a void. That’s what we have to be able to find,” said Evans, who has eight catches over 20 yards (tied for third in the league) and three over 40 (tied for fourth). “When they try to put pressure on us, as a team we have to hold them off the quarterback and let Trent find the open guy. It’s opportunities there if we can execute right.”

Bills coach Dick Jauron confirmed the obvious Friday that defensive end Aaron Schobel and right guard Brad Butler will not play on Sunday because of foot and knee injuries, respectively. Cornerbacks Terrence McGee (knee) and Ashton Youboty (foot) and center Melvin Fowler (elbow) are questionable. Youboty didn’t practice this week, while McGee and Fowler were limited. Jauron said it will be game-time decisions on those players.

The injury situation was a little brighter in Miami as starting nose tackle Jason Ferguson (oblique) practiced for the first time this week. He’s still listed as questionable but he did work out fully on Friday, raising the Dolphins’ hopes of having their top run-stopper on Sunday. "
