Eduardo Escobar's sacrifice fly scored Aaron Hicks with the go-ahead run in the top of the 14th inning as Minnesota won at Miller Park. Brian Duensing finished up for his first career save. Earlier, Justin Morneau's sacrifice fly scored Brian Dozier with the go-ahead run in the eighth inning, but the Brewers rallied to tie it in the bottom of the ninth off closer Glen Perkins.

The Twins rode early home runs by Ryan Doumit, Josh Willingham and Aaron Hicks to a 4-0 lead, but starter Scott Diamond gave it all back by the fifth.

MEANING: The Twins managed consecutive wins for the first time since May 7-9 at Boston. They tied the Kansas City Royals for fourth place in the American League Central.
