Erik Spoelstra convinced he has found the right lineup

"To say the Miami Heat's rotation has been a late-arriving proposition would be an understatement. Monday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena marked just the third time the Heat have gone with a starting lineup of Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Chris Bosh, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mike Bibby.

"The chemistry is happening," James said of the unit the Heat will also start in the playoffs, which open this weekend.

Asked he was surprised a team would be tinkering with a lineup this late in a season, James said change has been the team's only constant.

"It's been the whole year with us," he said. "If we could have had a full range of healthy guys all year, we would have been able to have a set lineup. But I think the luxury with this team, we've got guys that can come in."

Coach Erik Spoelstra said believes he has found the right mix.

"I'm comfortable with where our guys are playing right now in the rotation," he said. "I know the guys are starting to feel more comfortable, as well."

Spoelstra expounded before Monday's game on his reasoning for moving in Ilgauskas and Bibby and moving out Erick Dampier and Mario Chalmers.

He said Ilgauskas' outside shooting balances the evolution of the offense."
