Suarez's Uruguay team-mate Edinson Cavani revealed the striker is convinced Liverpool can achieve something special this season under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Paris Saint-Germain star Cavani, who is a target for both Manchester United and Chelsea, said Suarez's outlook has totally changed as Liverpool have emerged as credible challengers for Champions League qualification.

Suarez signed a lucrative new contract before Christmas and his 23 goals have underpinned Liverpool's progress with thoughts of quitting the club no longer in his mind.

"I speak with Luis most weeks - and he is loving life at Liverpool," said Cavani.
