" Whenever the NFL gets back to business, Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid will be ready to strike.
"It's a good, aggressive plan," Reid told the Philadelphia Inquirer about the team's offseason strategy. "When they say go, we're ready to go."
A number of teams covet backup quarterback Kevin Kolb, and the Eagles could be one of several teams making a play for free-agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. Reid has told his staff to be ready, in case the lockout is lifted quickly at some point.
"The coaches know that vacations this year will be a little bit different," Reid said. "You don't want to be taking camel rides in the Sahara Desert."
