The Eagles on Tuesday finally signed former Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne, who last played in the Arena League.

Kinne, who is being added for depth at the spring camps, was most recently with the San Antonio Talons, who needed to release him before he could sign with the Eagles. He is the fifth quarterback on the roster, along with Michael Vick, Nick Foles, Trent Edwards and Dennis Dixon.

The 6-foot-2, 234-pound Kinne went undrafted out of Tulsa last year before signing with the Jets, who released him last summer. He passed for 9, 472 yards and completed 61 percent of his passes in three seasons at Tulsa, where he was once a teammate of Eagles wide receiver Damaris Johnson and coached for one season by Eagles offensive quality control coach Press Taylor. Kinne also threw 81 career touchdowns and rushed for 15 more.
