"Johnnie Lynn has been fired after just one year as the Eagles' cornerbacks coach, the team announced Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles hired Lynn after last season as part of a complete overhaul of the defensive coaching staff that saw defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, defensive line coach Rory Segrest and linebackers coach Bill Shuey also fired and defensive consultant and secondary coach Dick Juaron leave as well.
Lynn, who spent 10 seasons playing for the Jets, came to the Eagles after five years with the 49ers, two years with the Ravens and seven years with the Giants."
