"For a superstar who wants to leave the Orlando Magic, Dwight Howard doesn't want to leave the floor and take a rest.
"He got ticked at me when I took him out in the first half," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said after the club routed the Charlotte Bobcats 100-79 on Friday night.
"He played the whole second half. He didn't want to come out."
Management might not listen to every suggestion Howard makes.
But Van Gundy isn't about to argue with Howard if the All-Star wants to stay on the court. He played all 24 minutes of the second half even though the Magic were never threatened by the Bobcats, building their lead to as many as 18 points."
