Former Duke big man Chase Jeter announced Wednesday on Twitter he will transfer to Arizona, choosing the Wildcats over a number of Western programs including UNLV, Oregon, Gonzaga, Cal and UCLA.

Jeter was a five-star recruit out of Las Vegas in 2016 but struggled as a freshman with the Blue Devils while struggling with a disk injury. He averaged just 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds over 16 games last season.

Jeter will be eligible to play for the Wildcats in 2018-19 after sitting out the required redshirt season for traditional transfers, and have up to three seasons to play.
