Ducks re-sign Sexton for two more years

"The Ducks have signed Dan Sexton to a two-year contract extension, the winger's agent confirmed Monday morning.

Sexton's agent, Alex Schall, tweeted out the signing of his client and then confirmed with the Register that the deal is two-way in nature in the first year and one-way in 2012-13. He'll make $550,000 in the NHL in both seasons and $105,000 in the American Hockey League next season.

A restricted free agent on July 1, Sexton and the Ducks were able to avoid a scheduled Aug. 4 arbitration hearing in Toronto. It was the only potential arbitration case for the club. "
