"The agents for Brandon Dubinsky and Ryan Callahan as well as Brian Boyle said today they will be filing for arbitration at today's 5 o'clock deadline. Mike Sauer has also filed.

However, as of now, there's nothing ominous about that. It's just paperwork at this point. Dubinsky's agent, Kurt Overhardt, called it "part of the process" and Boyle said he was hopeful a deal could be struck soon. Callahan's agent, Steve Bartlett, said his agent would file barring an offer sheet from another team, which is very unlikely. Barlett said preliminary talks with the Rangers have been "amicable" and, to this point, the sides have "agreed to disagree."

Rangers general manager Glen Sather said on a conference call in announcing the signing of Brad Richards that he was hopeful deals could be struck with all five of the team's RFAs (including Artem Anisimov) within the next couple of weeks."
