"Now that the Super Bowl is over, receiver Donte Stallworth has been technically returned to the Browns roster. The team is now on the clock to act on his status.
A league source told The Plain Dealer this morning that there will be no formal league announcement about Stallworth. The source said that Stallworth and the Browns were informed about a month ago that his suspension was lifted.
The Browns will release Stallworth rather than pay him a $1 million roster bonus due him on March 20, another source has informed The Plain Dealer."
