"The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday afternoon and this time of year leads to speculation about what trades might and might not happen.

None of those rumors have involved the Jaguars, and don't expect that to change.

The indications I'm getting are that the Jaguars aren't planning trades of any of their players and won't be going after Brandon Lloyd, who the Denver Broncos put on the trading block. Lloyd's potential suitors include the Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers and New York Jets.

Don't take this as a sign the Jaguars think their receiving corps is fine as is. They showed confidence in Mike Thomas by giving him a three-year deal worth $18 million."
