The Broncos haven't been having a great run lately either with potential suspensions (Von Miller) or major injuries (center Dan Koppen most notably). And they might have taken another hit Wednesday with cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie being carted off the field after suffering what appears to be a leg injury.

According to Lindsay Jones of USA Today the cornerback "put no weight on [his] left leg as he was helped off the field." Mike Klis of the Denver Post noted it was either a left leg or left ankle injury.

DRC was signed to a two-year contract this offseason after struggling for two years with the Eagles (following the ultimate lose-lose trade for Kevin Kolb that got everyone involved fired). Though Rodgers Cromartie is as Klis notes the second-highest paid player on the Broncos defense he's was also a pretty good value for Denver.
