Dolphins veterans might be facing last game for Miami

"A lot of the roster that got the Dolphins into this 5-10 mess will be back next season. But decisions await on several veterans as Miami seeks to upgrade at multiple positions. At least 10 players who have been here for years — such as Paul Soliai — will play Sunday's finale against the Jets without any idea if it will be their last game in a Dolphins uniform. The most intriguing questions surround Soliai, Kendall Langford and Vernon Carey. Soliai and Langford want far more money than the Dolphins were willing to offer during negotiations earlier this season. The Dolphins could again use the franchise tag on Soliai, but that would be very costly after paying him $12.4 million this season. Carey has played decently at right guard, but the Dolphins could opt to go with John Jerry. Jason Taylor has played well enough to earn another year, but it won't be surprising if he retires.Others assuredly won't be back, including right tackle Marc Colombo. Here's a breakdown of the roster heading into the final game against the Jets, who need a win, losses by the Bengals, Titans and either the Broncos or Raiders to make the playoffs:QuarterbacksMatt Moore: One year left on contract at $2.5 million. Ranked 11th in NFL in passer rating (89.8). Decent chance he remains the starter initially in 2012 if Fins draft quarterback as expected.Chad Henne: Free agent. Hasn't been asked back and will seek chance to start elsewhere.J.P. Losman: Free agent. Nomadic career likely will continue elsewhere."
