"A planned procedure on Ronnie Brown's right foot has sidelined the running back for the final handful of offseason practices, but Brown said he has been cleared to participate fully when training camp begins in late July.
Brown, who suffered a season-ending mid-foot injury last November, had one of two screws removed from the right foot last week. The other screw will remain in place.
``It was precautionary,'' Brown said. ``The doctor told me to take two weeks off.''
Coach Tony Sparano said the procedure was a ``good thing. These are positive steps.''"
