The imposing Dodgers offense will soon get yet another boost. Matt Kemp's ankle -- the one that landed him on the disabled list -- is now pain-free and he's possibly beginning a minor-league rehab stint this coming week he told reporters (Dylan Hernandez) Sunday.

Kemp has been out since spraining his ankle July 21.

On the season Kemp's numbers don't look good. He's hitting .263/.319/.382 with 12 doubles five homers and 27 RBI in 62 games. Keep in mind however that Kemp had offseason shoulder surgery and was likely bothered by it though the early-going this season considering that same shoulder caused him to be on the DL through most of June.
