"The Denver district attorney declined to file charges against Broncos defensive tackle Ryan McBean, who was arrested Oct. 14 on a stalking allegation and released the next morning after posting a $50,000 bond.

McBean will receive his bond back, but from his point of view, not all the damage can be undone.

"The fact he had to spend a night in jail is outrageous and shows the flaws in the system," said McBean's attorney, Harvey Steinberg. "He is owed much more than an apology. The people involved need to figure out a way to restore his impeccable reputation. I'm waiting for them to explain how they intend to do that.""
