"Although he would not offer a timetable for his return, injured Devils center Travis Zajac said Monday he has started skating in his recovery from August Achilles tendon surgery.

Zajac said he skated Thursday and expects to hit the ice again later this week after he returns to hometown Winnipeg to continue his rehabilitation.
