"Devils rookie Adam Larsson spent an unusually long time on the trainer's table today, but the 18-year-old Swedish defenseman is not seriously hurt.

Coach Pete DeBoer said Larsson, who took a shot off the foot in Thursday's home game against the Kings, didn't practice today because he was resting the foot.

"He's got a little bit of soreness there from that, but it wouldn't have kept him out. If we were playing tomorrow night he would've been out there today," DeBoer said of practice."
