Junior receiver Will Mahone is no longer enrolled at Notre Dame in the wake of his arrest in June on five charges, including three felonies after an incident in which Mahone allegedly head-butted police, vandalized cars and had to be subdued with a taser in his hometown of Austintown Township, Ohio.

The school confirmed Monday night Mahone was no longer enrolled at the school. Following his arrest, Mahone was indefinitely suspended from football activities.

Mahone's lawyer, James Gentile, told the South Bend Tribune that Mahone would like to return to Notre Dame but the school has told him he can not attend as long as felony charges are pending against him.
