Brian Boyle will, as expected, make his delayed Devils’ debut tonight against the Canucks at Rogers Arena in Vancouver (Faceoff: 10 p.m.; Television: MSG Plus; Radio: WFAN-101.9FM/660AM, digital one Jersey Network).

Boyle, 32, was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia at the start of training camp after signing a two-year, $5.5 million deal as a free agent and was medically cleared to participate with his teammates on Oct. 22.

Boyle went through Tuesday’s practice at Rogers Arena with the starting unit, centering a fourth line with Blake Coleman and Miles Wood. After practice, coach John Hynes said he would have a one-on-one discussion with Boyle and then make a final decision as to whether to insert Boyle into the lineup.

“I’m trying to convince myself that for four weeks now,” Boyle said after Tuesday’s practice when asked whether he was ready to play. “Whether I’m there or not, I’m doing everything I can. I feel pretty good.”
