The Detroit Tigers have trimmed two more players from their roster.
The Tigers optioned left-handed pitcher Casey Crosby to Triple-A Toledo and assigned left-handed pitcher Kenny Faulk to their minor-league camp.

Crosby showed major-league stuff this spring but struggled with control. He allowed one run, gave up four hits, walked six and struck out three in seven innings of work. Opposing batters hit .190 against him this spring.

Crosby made three starts for the Tigers last season and will be among the leading candidates to be called up from Toledo this season should the Tigers need someone to make a spot start. He allowed 13 earned runs in 12 1/3 innings for the Tigers last season.
