Derrick Hall in full speed, here to stay

"Back to work after a bout with prostate cancer, CEO Derrick Hall has returned to full speed. He's also attracting attention from potential rivals.

Hall has been contacted by prospective owners of the Los Angeles Dodgers -- news first reported by Yahoo! Sports -- but he said he isn't looking to leave the Diamondbacks.

"Any time they've contacted me, I've said that I'm very happy where I'm at," Hall said. "Obviously, I'm very happy where I'm at, and I don't foresee myself going to another team. This is where I want to be, the organization that we're building, and I don't envision myself going anywhere."

Hall, 42, spent parts of 12 years in the Dodgers organization at the beginning of his career, breaking into the game under then-owner Peter O'Malley, who reportedly is interested in re-acquiring the team. Hall joined the Diamondbacks as senior vice president of communications in May 2005.

Hall was asked whether the Dodgers were perhaps the one organization for which he'd consider leaving the Diamondbacks."
