"Derek Anderson will start at quarterback Sunday for the Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota, coach Ken Whisenhunt announced Wednesday morning.

Rookie Max Hall has been ineffective in his three starts, with Anderson replacing him the past two games.

Whisenhunt said the "environment" Sunday in Minneapolis had a lot to do with the decision. Mall of America Field is one of the louder stadiums in the NFL, and the Cardinals also have a game in Kansas City in two weeks."
