"Ryan Dempster is excited about the Cubs' signing of Carlos Pena because of Pena's mental approach.

"I am so excited to play with a guy who gets as excited by making a great fielding play as he does by hitting a three-run home run," said Dempster, who was spotted Saturday at the Loyola-Kansas State game.

The Cubs funnyman was dressed as Jackie Moon, the Will Ferrell character from the basketball comedy "Semi-Pro," with a wig, game uniform and warm-ups. He took the court to shoot baskets at halftime.
