DAYTON FACES STANFORD IN THE NCAA REGIONAL SEMIFINAL
• Looking to make the Elite Eight for the first time in 30 years, the University of Dayton Flyers match up against the No. 10 seed Stanford Cardinal in the Third Round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

ABOUT STANFORD
• The Stanford Cardinal, 23-13 overall, earned the No. 10 seed in the tournament. The Cardinal knocked off the No. 7 seed New Mexico Lobos and No. 2 seed Kansas Jayhawks.
• Stanford has four players whose scoring average are in double-figures, led by Chasson Randle. He averages a team-high 18.7 points and has reached double-figure scoring in all but two games.
• Dwight Powell (13.9 ppg), Anthony Brown (12.5 ppg) and Josh Huestis (11.1 ppg) also add to the potent Cardinal offensive attack.

• This is the first meeting between the two programs.

HOW SWEET IT IS
• Dayton is making its seventh appearance in the Sweet Sixteen and the first since 1984.
• UD is one of two non-BCS football schools left in the tournament, the other being San Diego State.

• UD is looking to make the Elite 8 for the first time since 1984.
• Dayton is making its 15th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
• The Flyers have an all-time record of 16-16.
• Coach Archie Miller is also the first Dayton coach to win his first two NCAA Tournament games.
