Six nights ago, Clay Buchholz outdueled David Price for seven innings at Tropicana Field.
Last night, Price got even.
Facing a stripped-down Red Sox [team stats] lineup that consisted of six players who began the season in the minors, Price allowed seven hits, didn't walk a batter and struck out 13 in a 112-pitch complete game to lead the Tampa Bay Rays to a 5-2 victory at Fenway Park [map].
And Buchholz? He made only a handful of mistakes, but with zero margin for error, allowing four earned runs on eight hits in six innings wasn't good enough.
