David Price's left shoulder put a smile on the faces of Price and the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday after the lefty reported no discomfort after a bullpen session.

Price missed his last start Saturday against the Texas Rangers, but the Rays downplayed the skipped turn by calling it "general soreness." Luckily it seems to be nothing more than some September fatigue because Price said of whatever it was that bothered him, "I feel like it's gone now."

The Rays still don't know what caused the soreness in Price's left shoulder, but Price said he feels ready to make his next start Friday against the New York Yankees in what is turning out to be a crucial series for both clubs. And just for the sake of selling some tickets, the Yankees will throw their own lefty ace, CC Sabathia.
