"Jaguars quarterback David Garrard tied a single-season franchise record for touchdown passes with three TDs in Sunday's 38-31 win over the Raiders. Garrard now has 20, matching Mark Brunell (1998, 2000).

Garrard threw touchdowns of 48 yards to Jason Hill, one yard to Marcedes Lewis and 10 yards to Mike Sims-Walker.

"It's very important because when you're breaking records, scoring touchdowns, that means you're doing some good things," Garrard said. "You're giving your team an opportunity and a chance to win. We needed every point today. Those were big catches today by Mike Sims-Walker and Marcedes."
