Farmington High School juniors David Reese and Dez Fitzpatrick will remain teammates beyond the fall of 2015 and into their college playing days.

Reese recently became the second Falcons player to commit to the University of Louisville. Fitzpatrick made that choice late last year.

A three-year starter and two-time, all-area linebacker, Reese gave the Cardinals a verbal commitment during a recent visit to Louisville and while attending a basketball game.

Coach Bobby Petrino was at the game and personally welcomed Reese (6-2, 231) into the Louisville fold.

"He was very excited," Reese said. "They made sure I was a priority recruit and wanted to get me right away. I'll have a chance to play early, and that was very attractive. I really felt like I was home."

Reese said he liked the fact Louisville sent a lot of players to the recent NFL Combine. He added Fitzpatrick was a good salesman in helping to lure him to Louisville, too.
