"Daunte Culpepper has served as his own agent for years. But the Lions veteran quarterback insists he takes his "agent hat" off during the season, and Wednesday declined to put it on even for a moment.
"As soon as the season's over," Culpepper said.

The agent knows his client will be somewhere other than Detroit next season. For now, though, the 32-year-old remains in the middle of the Lions quarterback quandary.
And it appears he's the likely starter for Sunday's finale against Chicago. Culpepper took the first-team reps in Wednesday's practice ahead of Drew Stanton, who was limited by an ankle injury and coming off a fourth-quarter benching in his first career start last week at San Francisco."
