It's a good thing the Canucks have been spending more time on shootouts in practice recently.

They've already been in 12 — which ties them for the league-high with New Jersey and is more than the nine they've averaged over the previous three seasons.

The results, though, have been mixed. Vancouver is 6-6 in those games, while the Devils are an impressive 9-3.

Of course, those missed points can come back to haunt you when it comes to playoff seeding, but Daniel Sedin is willing to be part of the solution.
