"Coach Bill Belichick is never one to shy away from unconventional decisions, and he made another one late in Super Bowl XLVI last night.
With the Pats leading by two points and the Giants on the opposing 6-yard line, Belichick called for his defense to allow running back Ahmad Bradshaw to score. And he did, putting the Giants up 21-17 with 57 seconds left.
It was a move that caught some players by surprise, with linebacker Brandon Spikes describing his reaction as, "Wow." But to those who have been around Belichick, it wasn't much of a surprise.
