Julio Borbon has had an interesting first couple of weeks with the Cubs.

But Thursday may take the cake. He got his first taste of some serious Chicago wind, as he misplayed a ball into a base hit in the game-changing eighth inning.

Then, in the bottom of the inning, a pitch sailed in toward his feet in the left-handed batter's box and even though it missed hitting him by a good amount, Borbon still jumped like he was struck on the foot.

The only problem is, his reaction was so delayed, nobody took it seriously. In fact, it's given the baseball world a good laugh since.

Borbon's head was in the right place -- why not try to get on base by any means possible, especially with your team down late in a close game? -- but no umpire in the world is going to fall for that.
