Colorado State announced Tuesday that Michael Ray, a former defensive back at Wyoming, has been hired as CSU’s assistant strength-and-conditioning coach.

Ray spent the past three years as Wyoming’s assistant sports-performance coach.

He replaces Rashard Harris, who was named head strength-and-position coach at Alabama A&M.

A native Oklahoman, Ray completed his playing eligibility at Wyoming in 2008 and began a career in strength-and-conditioning at Arizona State in 2009.
