Sidney Crosby doesn’t think much of New Yorkers – specifically Islanders’ fans.

“(They) didn’t show a lot of class,” the Pittsburgh Penguins forward told following the Pens 4-2 win on the island Tuesday night.

He continued: “I wouldn't do that.”

During the second period of Tuesday night’s game Crosby was involved in a scary moment when a deflected puck bloodied his nose, forcing the NHL’s top player to leave the game as chants of “Crosby sucks” went up around Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Following a day off ahead of Pittsburgh’s game in Washington tonight, Crosby told the Post-Gazette he expects to play before reassuring reporters that Tuesday night’s scare won’t have an impact on his play.
