"Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed unrestricted free agent goaltender Curtis McElhinney to a one-year (two-way) contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In four NHL seasons with the Ottawa Senators, Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames, the 6-foot-2, 197 pound McElhinney appeared in 67 games posting a 18-26-4 record with a 3.13 goals against average (GAA) and a .898 save percentage."
