"Coyotes goaltender Jason LaBarbera signed a two-year contract Monday to remain with the team.

LaBarbera, the backup to Ilya Bryzgalov, played in 17 games last season with a 7-6-3 record, recording two shutouts and allowing 3.26 goals per game. The pair combined for nine shutouts, tying the franchise record. LaBarbera also made 46 saves in a 3-1 win over Vancouver."
