"Bengals secondary coach Kevin Coyle concluded his interview with the Dolphins on Thursday. It is not wrapped up yet, but all indications are Coyle will be Miami's new defensive coordinator after 11 seasons here as the secondary coach.
Speaking of the secondary, there will be a lot of attention focused on the corners during free agency and the draft process. Nebraska's Alfonzo Dennard and North Alabama's Janoris Jenkins are two names that have been mentioned in some mock drafts. Both are at the Senior Bowl this week but Dennard pulled out of the game this week due to a hip flexor injury.
Sports Illustrated draft guru Tony Pauline likes what Dennard has done on film, but the Nebraska standout struggled during practices this week.
"He's going to drop a little bit but I'm a big fan of him," Pauline said. "He's a feisty guy who does a tremendous job of defending downfield throws consistently. He hasn't done that the past couple days but during practice this week he looked slow and indecisive.""
