--After Brett Maxie left to join Tennessee's staff, head coach Jason Garrett said the Cowboys intend to add another coach to assist Jerome Henderson, who was hired last week to oversee the secondary.
--Running backs coach Skip Peete, offensive quality control/wide receivers coach Keith O'Quinn and assistant offensive line coach Wes Phillips, whose contracts were set to expire this year, have been retained. Tight ends coach John Garrett, meanwhile, will reprise his role as passing game coordinator...."
