"Cowboys rookie right tackle Tyron Smith practiced Wednesday with his right hand heavily wrapped to protect a dislocated ring finger that he injured Nov. 24 against Miami in the Thanksgiving Day game at Cowboys Stadium.

Smith said his finger "swelled up" in Sunday's loss against Arizona and bothered him more. Smith isn't expected to miss any practice time or games. "I'll be alright," he said.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett was asked if Smith's finger is broken Wednesday."
