Cowboys long snapper L.P. LaDouceur was on the RaGe on KRLD-FM 105.3 The Fan, Friday to speak about his new five-year contract. Here are some highlights from the interview:

On the Cowboys’ recent moves this offseason:

“I think we’re going in the right direction. There’s no doubt about it that this is going to be a great team the next few years.”

On his unorthodox training regiment in the offseason:

“Obviously during the season, I’m looking between my legs for five and a half months. You’re using muscles that are not used to being that way,” La Doucher said. “I try to incorporate things during the season, or in the offseason, where it can help muscle strains, lunges, just anything that can (help.) Its kind of weird but I do bikram yoga. That is the best thing I could have ever started doing about two and a half years ago. It’s hot yoga but it’s not hot yoga. It’s bikram yoga which is even hotter than hot yoga.”

“An hour a half, 26 poses and stretches and I’m telling you, you don’t have to work out. You just go to an hour and a half of that three or four times a week. It’s a grind. It’s pretty long.”

On new special teams coach Rich Bisaccia:

“I’m really looking forward to my time with Coach Bisaccia. I think he’s a hell of a guy. I couldn’t speak more highly of the guy.”

On whether he could play another position if needed:

“I don’t have the size anymore for an offensive lineman. I used to play defensive end a long time ago. I had somewhat the size of that position. An offensive lineman, I’m about 40 pounds too light.”
