After yet another 8-8 season that fell short of expectations, the Cowboys aim to improve their roster through the draft. With the 16th pick, the team hopes to select a player who will be an immediate contributor and help the Cowboys for years to come. Here is a look one of five prospects who may make sense for Dallas:

Aaron Donald

Position: Defensive Tackle
School: Pittsburgh
Height: 6-1
Weight: 285

What he’s done: Donald just about did it all in college. He was a first-team All-America selection and the winner of the Outland, Bronco Nagurski, Rotary Lombardi and Chuck Bednarik awards. In his career at Pittsburgh, he collected 29 ½ sacks, including 22 in his sophomore and senior seasons. He also produced 63 tackles for loss after his freshman year. Donald’s impressive play on the field was backed up by his performance at the NFL scouting combine. There, he showcased his speed and strength, running the 40-yard dash in 4.68 seconds and doing 35 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
