"Cowboys coach Jason Garrett called six plays Sunday for running back Felix Jones against Washington: five runs for 18 yards and one catch for four yards. Of his five runs, two came on first down, two on second down and one on third down. However, Jones was primarily used as a third-down back for the Cowboys against Washington, often helping out in pass protection.
Jones' role on the Cowboys' team diminished dramatically when he missed the previous four games with a left high ankle sprain. He lost his starting job to rookie running back DeMarco Murray."
