Q: Ira, I believe Chris Bosh is a better player than Carmelo Anthony and that the Heat should have three starters in the 2013 All-Star Game. I know it is a popularity contest, but do you think Bosh should be starting? -- John, Ocala.

A: By rule, someone from New York has to start. At least Jeremy Lin is out West now. But figure on New Yorkers stuffing the ballot box to the point where Carmelo gets the other East forward spot opposite LeBron. Now, if Bosh is listed at center, it could get interesting, with not many choices in the East at that position with Dwight Howard going West. Bosh vs. Andrew Bynum, Roy Hibbert, Tyson Chandler, Al Horford, Brook Lopez and Joakim Noah just might give him a chance to start.
